Product Engineer
US Farathane is hiring for a Product Engineer, the role will sit on-site at our Corporate Tech Center. The Product Engineer is responsible to manage and develop new product for specific customer programs with focus on internal and external customer deliverables to include design and part feasibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and communicate development of new product- daily Support design activities of new product- daily Manage testing requirements for new products - as required Maintain and manage ED&T budgets for each assigned program-weekly Support APQP database (Phase 0 & 1) for each assigned program
weekly Creating and maintaining DFMEA, DVP, Open Issues Support USF customers with ongoing communication meetings
weekly Support tool trials and pre-production build activities, as needed Support launch activities at USF manufacturing and customer sites-throughout launch and SOP Post 90 activities. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
