Major Responsibilities: Assists educator in providing behavioral intervention to young children in assigned setting. Models engaging children in assigned activities and participates in interactive play. Works to build strong, functional working relationships with the childcare staff who have received early childhood consultation. Works closely with the Early Childhood Clinician and the childcare staff to implement, monitor and modify the service delivery plan as needed. Assist the childcare staff to develop competence and confidence in their ability to address serious behavior and learning problems in a group setting. Assists the Early Childhood Clinician with the distribution and collection of outcome measures. Position Qualifications: Required: Teachers Aide I: High School Diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory CORI background check. Driving is not a requirement. Preferred: Associate degree or higher preferred with concentration in childhood education. EEC Certification preferred. Current, valid, US-issued driver's license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes.
