Responsibilities: Ability to implement program policies and procedures in order to maintain daily structure and consistency within the program milieu and maintain compliance with DPH licensing standards. Ability to effectively communicate and develop positive professional relationships with staff and co-workers and outside professionals and complete all required documentation. Knowledge of and eligibility to work effectively with community-based resources, referral networks, and public/private systems of care. Ability to assess basic physical, social, educational, legal, and service needs of a client and coordinate care with other inter-agency and community-based providers. Qualifications: C02: Case Manager I: Must have HSD/GED or HiSet; Associates degree preferred C04: Case Manager II: Requires a Bachelor's degree; preferably in the field of psychology or human services Certification in addictions counseling or minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in field required. This position requires transporting clients as an essential function of the role. A current, valid US Driver's license and a review of your motor vehicle record is required for a determination of your eligibility to drive for this work-related purpose. A CHL vehicle may be available but if you will be using your personal vehicle you will be required to provide proof of current registration and inspection. Knowledge of the Massachusetts continuum of care for substance abuse. Understanding of addiction and recovery. Desire to serve others required.
