Your Opportunity: We are looking for a talented Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager who wants to be part of a purpose-driven organization that's focused on helping our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. You will primarily be working on water-related projects through collaboration with a wide range of technical disciplines. Your Key Responsibilities: You manage a team of design professionals and technicians, mentor and supervise staff, and develop high-performing project teams. Routine tasks include participating in business line teams, managing proposals, client facing business development, and collaborating with multiple business lines to develop opportunities. You assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule. You conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects, facilitate independent technical review projects by others, and manage projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams. Your Capabilities and Credentials: You inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement. You consistently engage employees in discussions on job satisfaction and engagement and provide ongoing recognition and feedback to employees and teams. You understand local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions. Education and Experience: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, minimum of 15 years' related experience in project management for water-related projects with minimum of 10 years' experience in NC. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NC. Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus. Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship. Travel to other offices as well as to project sites may be required. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
