Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time Ophthalmologist to join our team at Riverside Hampton Roads Eye Associates in Newport News, Virginia. Seeking Comprehensive or Glaucoma Ophthalmologist Multispecialty well-established ophthalmology practice with 8 MDs - three retina, one pediatrics, one cornea and three comprehensive doctors. High volume of patients presenting with clinically significant pathology. Strong internal and external referral base eliminates competition for patients or cases. Call expectations: one weekday twice per month, 3 weekends per year, one holiday per year, No trauma surgery call. Qualifications Education Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (Required) Experience Successful completion of residency or demonstrated experience in medical specialty (Required) Licenses and Certifications Physician License (MD) - Virginia Board of Medicine (Required) Valid DEA of controlled substances registration (Required) More about Riverside, a great place to work We are one of the area's larger employers, with about 10,000 team members.
