Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Land Development team in our Austin office.
The successful candidate should be a self-starter who can provide project management and technical support to Land Development projects and proposals. The candidate will be responsible for proposing, planning, executing and managing projects of varying complexity with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires strong collaboration skills, project management, and client engagement in support of our Clients in Texas, as well as experience with proposal preparation (scoping and pricing).
Responsibilities
Lead the design and management of municipal, commercial, and residential land development projects, applying engineering principles to deliver infrastructure solutions.
Oversee a design team, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely and efficient project delivery. Manage multiple projects, staying within budget, on time, and meeting client requirements. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, ensure high satisfaction throughout the project, and identify other opportunities. Resolves issues to keep projects on track. Manage relationships with key clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas. 7-8 years of experience in land development or related engineering fields. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably Candidate will be required to complete Kleinfelder’s project management qualifications within one (1) year of hire.
