Role Overview The Senior Enterprise Delivery Manager, Migrations, is responsible for guiding Atlassian’s most complex customers through their cloud migration journey, ensuring a smooth transition and positive cloud experience. You will act as a trusted advisor to customer leadership and serve as the chief delivery manager, demonstrating technical expertise and project governance skills. You will collaborate closely with key customer stakeholders and cross-functional teams—including Sales, Solutions, Support, Product Management, Channel Partners, and Engineering—to ensure clear communication, aligned priorities, and coordinated initiatives. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in defining customer cloud strategies. Leadership and teamwork are essential for success. You will identify potential challenges, facilitate solutions, and leverage your extensive experience to steer projects toward successful outcomes. Customer Engagement:
Identify deployment and transformation opportunities by evaluating customer environments and engaging with business and technical leaders. Coordinate with account teams to deliver briefings on technical solutions and strategies. Solution Architecture:
Lead architecture efforts to address complex technical needs, managing dependencies to enable cohesive customer scenarios. Technical Guidance:
Provide deployment guidance and best practices. Design migration and upgrade plans, address hesitations, and secure customer commitment. Resource Management:
Ensure optimal resource engagement and execution of the Migration Execution Plan. Project Delivery:
Manage high-risk projects to ensure successful outcomes. Collaborate with customers and partners to create comprehensive project plans with clear milestones and goals. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to foster understanding and commitment. Enhance collaboration and drive process improvements across teams. Steering Committee Leadership:
Lead meetings and review plans to guide project direction. Maintain communication with stakeholders to advocate for the team and meet customer objectives. Risk Management:
Oversee high-risk migration projects, align plans with goals, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Coordination with Support and Engineering:
Ensure timely delivery of migration projects by coordinating with support and engineering teams. Escalation Management:
Act as the escalation point for customers to address critical blockers during migrations. Team Leadership:
Foster a cohesive team environment, promote trust and accountability, organize workflows, delegate tasks, and mentor team members. Industry Insight:
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate insights into customer interactions. Propose innovative solutions to business challenges. Qualifications
Proven track record in delivery excellence and high data quality standards. Strong influencing skills with customers through delivery expertise and value discussions. Extensive experience with enterprise cloud/hybrid infrastructures, architecture, migrations, and technology management. Ability to serve as a technical lead, providing guidance on architecture and deliverables. Effective communication and negotiation skills with senior decision-makers. Leadership, teamwork, and mentorship abilities that promote team growth and engagement. 7+ years of experience managing complex technology projects for enterprise clients. Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience. Compensation & Benefits At Atlassian aims for equitable, transparent, and competitive pay. Our salary ranges are above market averages, with final offers based on skills and experience. In the US, pay zones are divided geographically: Zone A: $156,300 - $208,400 Zone B: $140,700 - $187,600 Zone C: $129,800 - $173,000 This role may include benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
