Associate
to join their distinguished Private Equity Group. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a
dynamic practice
focusing on significant
asset management M&A transactions . The successful candidate will be deeply involved in all facets of private equity deals, from
inception to successful exit . Responsibilities will include
drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional documents , conducting
comprehensive due diligence , and providing
strategic counsel
to clients on complex corporate matters. A particular emphasis will be placed on
GP stakes transactions , offering an unparalleled opportunity to develop specialized expertise in this niche yet crucial area of asset management. The role demands a proactive individual who can seamlessly
collaborate within a team
while also
independently managing key components of transactions , ensuring efficient and effective deal execution. Qualifications : Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in the District of Columbia. A minimum of
3 years of experience
in corporate and transactional matters, with a strong focus on asset management M&A. Preferred Skills : Demonstrated experience in
GP stakes transactions
within asset management M&A. A broad background encompassing
mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture capital transactions and exits, and equity compensation . Proven ability to work both
collaboratively and independently . Strong business acumen
and exceptional communication skills. Capacity for
