The Joan C. Edwards Marshall University School of Medicine’s Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist with a completed residency in Neurology and fellowship in child neurology. Candidates must have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in West Virginia.
Duties:
Provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for pediatric neurology patients. Participate in hospital and clinic activities, including general pediatric neurology call coverage with other pediatric neurologists. Take on administrative responsibilities as the Pediatric Neurology Division Chief, including coordinating pediatric call schedules, organizing pediatric neurology lectures for residents and medical students, and assisting in planning a future pediatric neurology residency program. Engage in physician and hospital outreach activities related to pediatric neurology. Contribute to medical student and resident education and participate in research activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
