Role Overview As a Sr. Integration & Test Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding and testing satellite systems, including design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, and flight readiness. You will demonstrate engineering intuition and critical thinking, working with minimal oversight on inter-departmental projects to ensure satellite mission success. Responsibilities
Manage integration build flow and test operations Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and automation Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned Support day-to-day vehicle integration and testing activities Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement system improvements Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing Preferred Skills and Experience
Master's degree in an engineering discipline Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, or structural systems Experience working with composites and avionics systems Documentation and configuration management skills Experience writing test plans and procedures, and providing go/no-go judgments Experience in a production environment Strong engineering intuition, critical thinking, and ability to work with ambiguity Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 10% to launch sites Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 per year, with potential for bonuses, stock options, and other benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and more. ITAR Requirements Applicants must meet U.S. export control regulations, including citizenship or legal residency status. Additional Information Position is full-time, mid-senior level, in the engineering and IT field within the aerospace industry.
