Responsibilities · Continuous engagement in Problem Management to ensure recurrences are correctly tracked and resolution is provided · On behalf of a global financial services organization, act as a Global Point of Escalation for incidents, including senior stakeholder management and the production of ad hoc reports for executives · Monitor and measure Infrastructure’s Application experience 24x7, 365 days a year and provide major incident reporting and eventual avoidance for all Infrastructure incidents · Manage incidents via multiple communication channels 24/7 · Chair/Host multiple incident and resolution meetings and ensure approvals are provided in a timely manner · Address incoming critical escalations from executives or key stakeholders, and coordinate response to facilitate resolution · Preventing or mitigating service impact by managing Major Incident Handling, facilitating service recovery; gathering required support teams, handling escalations, issuing communications, and preparing executive communications · Engage in Major Incident Avoidance by utilizing early detection bespoke monitoring capabilities. · Oversee all Incident management processes adhering to all regulatory and audit requirements. · Ensure all administration is completed pre and post meeting hosting · Fully adhere to all Change validating controls in accordance with Governance levels. · Support Command & Control teams, locally and virtually, to ensure a consistent standard-working practice is adhered to globally · Manage customer and internal stakeholder communications for an incident via multiple communication channels in a 24/7, over the weekend on-call environment using standard incident management processes ensuring updates are timely, accurate, and actionable !*!

Requirements: · Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree, in any field of study and at least 7 years of experience in the position offered, or a related occupation in financial services · A leader in initiating and driving projects to solve problems or business needs, even when faced with high ambiguity. Proactively anticipate potential obstacles to ensure successful project outcomes · Must be highly organized, self-starter with a great attitude, not afraid to take the initiative, and work with little supervision in a fast past environment · Ability to communicate effectively with Executive management, Vendors · Ability to improve process, project management skills are helpful · Analytical skills and the ability to produce and maintain appropriate documentation · Strong understanding of business and system processes · Demonstrate strong applications support knowledge as well as analysis skills ideally within the financial/investment banking sector · Very strong communicator, critical thinker, can drive strategy, clear in process understanding, calm and composed under pressure · Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills The salary range for this role is $175,000-$250,000 At Jefferies, we believe that diversity fosters creativity, innovation and thought leadership through the infusion of new ideas and perspectives.
