Job Description: We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join HPE’s eCommerce, Experience, Change, and Launch (EECL) team to evolve our B2B Experience strategy for HPE’s direct customers.

This role has a preference to be on-site in HST; if located within a reasonable distance of an HPE site, the expectation would be 2+ days a week. For the right candidate, this role may be open to other HPE sites or remote work.

Responsibilities:

Shape the future of HPE’s global eCommerce experience, empowering customers with the right tools for purchases and projects.

Ensure the quality of HPE’s eCommerce platform UI from end-to-end.

Collaborate in a small, multidisciplinary team to create user experiences from ideation to deployment, including product vision, design, prototyping, and implementation oversight.

Participate in every phase of the development cycle, from brainstorming to validation.

Identify and prioritize key product questions in collaboration with various teams and business units.

Design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain UI quality across multiple websites.

Gather and understand detailed requirements from stakeholders.

Apply industry and UX/UI best practices to optimize usability.

Ensure responsiveness across devices: desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Support website build and launch processes.

Conduct user research and communicate insights effectively.

Utilize user behavior analytics dashboards to inform design decisions and validate experiences.

Understand end-user needs and provide informed UX perspectives.

Advocate for customer needs through storytelling, content, visuals, and communication.

Create artifacts such as user flows, customer journey maps, personas, and competitive analyses.

Iterate UI designs from sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.

Use and improve existing design systems and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Customer obsession with a passion for simple, delightful experiences.

High focus on UI design details and consistency.

Outstanding UX/UI skills, including interaction and visual design, with a product mindset.

Strong understanding of eCommerce UX/UI best practices.

Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and managing design systems.

Experience with User Behavior Analytics to inform design.

Collaborative, proactive, and self-managed work style suitable for small, agile teams.

Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to conceptualize and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum 4 years of UX/UI experience, with at least 2 years in eCommerce.

Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI skills and processes.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with B2B eCommerce platforms and HPE Design System.

Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.

Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.

Experience with User Behavioral Analytics tools.

Familiarity with other design and research tools beyond Figma.

Experience conducting comprehensive user research and usability testing.

Ability to manage end-to-end B2B eCommerce projects.
