Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource management, and oversee the entire lifecycle of HVAC projects. Lead and coordinate a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors, offering guidance, support, and training to promote safety and performance. Foster strong client relationships by addressing their needs and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and service. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, and implement corrective measures when necessary. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare financial reports and present updates to management. Ensure all projects adhere to applicable local, state, and federal regulations, staying informed of industry trends and best practices. Conduct site visits to assess progress and resolve any issues promptly. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to guarantee timely delivery of materials and equipment. Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications. Organize and lead team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps. Prepare and submit necessary documentation, including permits and compliance reports. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC systems as needed. Uphold strict safety standards and protocols across all job sites.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing HVAC projects in residential and commercial settings. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ductwork. Proven success in managing projects from inception to completion. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency with project management tools such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline, and CAD. Valid HVAC certification and relevant licensing.
Preferred Additional Skills
Experience in budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, buyouts, and electrical work. PMP Certification. OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain). Background as a Project Manager in Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing projects. Experience with new construction or retrofit projects. Familiarity with HVAC sheet metal fabrication and estimation processes.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
