About The Company Our client is a multi-billion dollar private equity firm that invests in media and entertainment businesses. The Director of Finance will assist with the execution of the financial operations for the firm. Responsibilities Oversee fund management, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, credit agreement compliance, tax planning and reporting, cash and treasury internal risk controls, and related regulatory and compliance guidelines and principles. Assist with the preparation and reporting of quarterly and annual financial reports across all managed funds. Review work with the third-party fund administrator for all financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and tax reporting. Assist with the firm’s portfolio company valuation processes on a quarterly basis and ensure compliance with GAAP. Assist with capital structure planning activities and review and provide analysis of capital plans. Work with corporate counsel to update legal processes for fundraising. Create and maintain fund, portfolio, and investor dashboards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. 10-12 years of private equity experience. CPA preferred. Experience within the Big 4 public accounting firms. Knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations. Salary Range $200,000-$225,000 Seniority level
