This position involves managing the Tennessee Transportation Planning and Design (TPD) Group, including operations and business development to facilitate growth in Tennessee, the East, and nationally. You will serve as the primary contact for staffing, resource planning, scope/fee preparation, and develop operational performance metrics such as Net Service Revenue (NSR) and staff utilization targets. The role includes project management, recruitment, mentoring, coaching, and business development. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Tennessee TPD staff, ensuring alignment with company values and growth targets. Oversee project delivery, resource sharing, and cross-disciplinary coordination within Tennessee and the broader region. Support staff development through training, leadership opportunities, and professional licensure. Develop and execute business development strategies, including pursuit of new projects and client relationships. Coordinate with regional managers and business development teams to meet financial and operational goals. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering. 15+ years of experience in Transportation Engineering. 10+ years of management experience. Proven track record in client development, project acquisition, and consulting. Additional Details:
