DKS Associates announced late 2024 its acquisition of Six Mile Engineering, an Idaho based provider of transportation and traffic engineering consulting services. This acquisition has sparked the need to hire a Senior Roadway Design Project Manager for our Meridian, Idaho location. This position will manage the design of various transportation engineering projects that may involve geometric design, roadway and intersection design, and preparation of PS&E. You will also have the opportunity to mentor team members in their development as they grow in their career.

What will you be doing?

Managing roadway design projects of varying complexity including scope, schedule, budget, earned value analysis, staffing allocation, and accounts receivable Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of final design plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for roadway engineering projects Attending client and project design team meetings to provide project updates, resolve design issues, and coordinate design elements with other disciplines Building relationships with clients Mentoring junior staff in their professional growth and enhancing their skills Pursuing additional professional growth opportunities in project management, business development, technical expertise, etc.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or similar field 10+ years of experience in roadway design Experience with Idaho Transportation Department projects is preferred Project management or task lead experience required PE license required Basic understanding of the AutoCAD or MicroStation software packages Working knowledge of industry practices and regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range

Sr. Project Manager (posted job): $141,200 - $161,900 per year
