Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you migrate, modernize and build on AWS.

This role can sit in one of these USA locations only: Arlington, VA, USA | Atlanta, GA, USA | Boston, MA, USA | East Palo Alto, CA, USA | New York, NY, USA | San Francisco, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA.

Relocation offered to these locations only from within the USA only.

Key job responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager for Migration and Modernization on AWS, you will have the opportunity to define the value proposition for migrating to and modernizing with AWS for our customers. You will be responsible for building compelling content aligned to our services portfolio that drives awareness, preference, and adoption of AWS. You will also be responsible for scaling our messaging through key channels including the website, blog, events, campaigns and more. Working with counterparts in engineering and sales, you will help drive the promotion and adoption of new features and services targeted at customers looking to migrate and modernize applications with AWS and our partners.

You will get to work on a growing, high profile business and have a strategic impact on our business planning and growth strategy for migration and modernization with AWS.

Key job responsibilities

Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos.) that land our migration and modernization on AWS value proposition Own content strategy and execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social, on-network promotion, events, and emails Work with engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits into product marketing messages Engage with customer communities to drive AWS advocacy Drive successful service launches inclusive of customer benefit messaging and positioning

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience in cloud computing and/or strategic enterprise workloads Proven track record of leading successful product launches Experience writing detailed messaging and positioning and strategic plan

Preferred Qualifications

Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience marketing to enterprise buyers and decision makers Strong technical background with demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technologies Executive presence and strategic thinking with ability to influence decision makers Understanding of migration and modernization technologies and business drivers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
