Job Overview This position will lead and train construction systems, processes, and methods within the business unit. It involves supervision and acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during engineering, planning, start-up, construction, and closeout phases. The role focuses on developing safe, quality, and efficient construction methods, ensuring project supervision adheres to standards, and maintaining a culture of safety and quality. The individual must be an innovator with a diverse background in construction methods across multiple industries, capable of building strong relationships with project teams. This position is remote with weekly travel to project sites. Key Responsibilities
Establish and validate safety culture and programs onsite. Ensure adherence to design, construction specifications, and methods for quality output. Support and develop Solar Best Methods during project planning and construction, refining crews and methods based on feedback. Coach and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and project teams for consistency and efficiency. Collaborate during pre-construction to develop equipment, labor, and material plans, referencing estimates. Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Methods, maintaining relationships with estimators and superintendents. Assist Site/Construction Managers to ensure skilled personnel are on site. Visit project sites as needed to support estimating and business development. Basic Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR. Proven ability to supervise multiple employees. Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment limitations. Excellent communication skills with owners and team members. Understanding of job costing and contract documents. Ability to read prints and comprehend federal and state codes. Willingness to travel extensively. Benefits
