About The Job The Client Development Director works closely with operations leadership to: Reduce Client Risk:
Identify and mitigate risks across the client portfolio. Retain and Renew Clients:
Develop strategies to foster loyalty and secure renewals. Drive Growth and Expansion:
Uncover opportunities to expand services, cross-sell, and increase revenue. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRisk Mitigation
Examine contract terms, focusing on pricing, SLAs, termination rights, and renewal options. Flag unfavorable terms that pose risks. Collaborate with finance to identify low-margin clients and prioritize restructuring. Assess client dependency levels and manage mission-critical accounts carefully. Assist in developing strategies to improve margins and optimize contracts. Client Retention and Renewal
Build and maintain relationships with C-suite stakeholders. Develop retention strategies and monitor client health indicators. Ensure delivery of exceptional service and support client loyalty. Support RFP responses and proposal development to maximize retention and opportunities. Growth and Expansion
Use data insights to identify growth opportunities within existing clients. Develop strategic account plans to increase wallet share. Negotiate renewals and expansions focusing on mutual value. Advocate for clients to inform product development and improvements. Leadership and Strategic Direction
Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on account planning and market strategies. Mentor client success and operations teams. Collaborate across functions to align client needs with organizational capabilities. Use data to identify process improvements and innovations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7+ years in client management or similar roles; healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency with CRM and data analytics tools, proven revenue growth success, strong negotiation skills, financial acumen, and excellent communication are required. Desired Attributes
