Due to a recent promotion, Royal Credit Union is searching for our next

Vice President of Finance ! In this role, you’ll lead

high-performing Finance

and

Accounting teams ,

shape financial strategy , and

collaborate with executive leadership to optimize performance and support Royal’s mission .

What You’ll Do

The

Vice President of Finance

will

lead

the

strategic direction

and

operational management

of the

Finance

and

Accounting

Teams. This role is responsible for

developing

and

implementing

financial strategies,

ensuring

compliance with regulatory requirements, and

optimizing

financial performance across all business units to support the credit union's mission and goals. The

VP - Finance

will work closely with the

executive leadership team

to

drive

the company's financial performance and

ensure

the accuracy of financial records. They will

lead

the

Finance

and

Accounting

teams,

fostering

collaboration and

guiding

team members to achieve professional and organizational goals.

Our Commitment To You

Compensation: $189,000 - $225,000/year annual salary + eligibility to earn a corporate bonus based on the overall performance of the credit union (candidates with significant related experience may be higher). What’s Needed For This Position

Required:

Three years of supervisory experience Must be bondable, have a valid driver’s license, and an insured vehicle

Strongly preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Ten years of experience in Finance, Accounting or a related field

Preferred:

Accounting or finance experience in a financial institution Experience evaluating mergers and acquisitions Strategic leadership experience

Required Knowledge, Skills And Competencies

Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting standards Strategic thinker with experience in asset liability management, treasury operations, and risk mitigation Skilled in budgeting, variance analysis, and presenting financial insights to executive leadership and boards Technologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to adopt new digital tools

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.

Training

Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.

Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
