Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies, Workers Compensation Division, is seeking a mid-level Technical Product Owner in Sacramento. The TPO 2 will oversee the delivery of complex IT products from concept to deployment, working closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications aligned with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
Product Backlog Management:
Manage, groom, and prioritize the backlog; write detailed user stories and collaborate with development teams. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and feasibility of solutions. Strategy & Roadmap:
Contribute to product vision, strategy, and market analysis; drive continuous improvement. Agile Practices:
Lead sprint planning, reviews, and champion Agile methodologies. Technical Requirements:
Translate complex technical needs into actionable features; evaluate tools and technologies. Cross-Functional Communication:
Facilitate understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Quality and UAT:
Define acceptance criteria, collaborate on testing, and lead UAT sessions. Product Launch & Support:
Coordinate releases, monitor post-launch performance, and address issues. Environment Management:
Support applications across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments; assist cloud migration strategies. Stakeholder Engagement:
Ensure applications meet organizational needs and compliance standards. Risk & Compliance:
Ensure security and regulatory compliance, support audits and disaster recovery. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field. 3+ years in product management or related roles; experience with Agile tools. Experience with technical discussions, architecture, and collaboration with development teams. Preferred Skills:
Experience with microservices, containerization, cloud-native apps, and tools like Git, Jenkins. What We Offer & Benefits:
