Req#: 84257 Asset & Wealth Management Operations – Project and Change Management – Vice President Your Impact Are you looking to apply your project and change management skills while deepening your understanding of asset management? Our Change Management team is seeking a professional who is looking to partner with our diversified business as a leader for change. Our Impact Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted business that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to client around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that make the business flow. The Asset Management Change Management team acts a center of project management excellence. As part of the Change Management team, you will be an intricate part of a centralized department of change agents focused on the design, execution and delivery of key initiatives that support the change agenda for the Asset Management Business. We Lead complex and high-priority projects, and manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases. Responsibilities and Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive executional excellence, ensuring successful delivery of regulatory compliance Partner extensively with Legal and Compliance, Product and Investment teams, Operations, Technology, and other functional groups on key projects, from rule interpretation to implementation Work with Legal and compliance to complete rule interpretation, scope, and analysis of regulatory requirements Understand, document and draft key business change requirements to meet regulatory obligations Take complete ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully managing schedules, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies, and interim milestones Ability to distill complex information into digestible content for stakeholders at all levels "Uncomfortable" with ambiguity - seeks out ambiguity and turns fuzzy requirements or updates into clear communications “Sees around corners;” anticipates project risks, issues and needs before they materialize Deliver on milestones and objectives, in line with the overall project plan and regulatory deadlines Manages and is accountable for the completion and follow through of assigned projects Documents how the project is managed, controlled, verified and communicated to the project team, stakeholders and customers Generates project reporting (leading and lagging indicators) Accountable for stakeholder communication Experience in leading large teams and driving change Manages projects actual and forecasted budget Actively manages risks and issues Manages vendors associated with project deliverables BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Good prior experience in delivery of regulatory projects, is prepared to read the regulatory text to understand the requirements and can be an SME in that regulation 6+ years of experience in Project Management, 2+years in regulatory project delivery Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong stakeholder management Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels within an organization Experience with Smartsheets, JIRA, Confluence, or Sharepoint PREFERRED SKILLS: Strong plus - prior experience in delivery of regulatory projects Strong plus – prior experience of Asset Management Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
