Schneider Electric We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee TAMIU plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's performance, including production, quality control, maintenance, safety, and contractor management. Mechanical background (HVAC) and Building Automation System skills and competences to collaborate with a combination of onsite Schneider Electric Energy Manager and other supporting personnel. Position Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant efficiency and productivity Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices Collaborate with other departments to meet overall company goals Complete understanding of Plant operation and campus buildings being served Periodically assist in evaluating performance of systems for improvement opportunities Lead, manage, complete and delegate actions to team members or contractors Manage flow of information between Schneider Electric and TAMIU personnel, and ensure effective communication of client goals, objectives, and schedules. Assist Energy Manager with commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices Ability to learn and adapt with install, replace and re-commission of controls devices and equipment (Siemens) Assist with annual training Facilitate maintenance, repair and replacement activities associated with project’s Hydronic Plant and Building Automation System as directed. Providing direct assistance to the SE Energy Manager to ensure all contractual needs and obligations of the Contract are fulfilled Reviewing and troubleshooting Mechanical/Control issues Coordinating with client to initiate issue resolution Coordinate and schedule periodic planned services/maintenances/service interruptions with TAMIU personnel Requirement to be on site Monday - Friday every week with exceptions during Holidays and Vacation 45-50 hour work week to be expected with periodic phone support needed Let us learn about you!
