On behalf of our client, a major hotel chain, we are seeking an outstanding individual who is competent working independently and is looking for an exciting and flexible full-time sales position. This position will be REMOTE based in the US West Region (California) or Canada Western or South-Central Region. You will be developing relationships with travel agencies across leisure, host, and corporate transient, unmanaged, and government agencies to promote the client’s portfolio of hotels, distributing sales collateral, uncovering new business opportunities, and documenting agent feedback. You will develop business relations with the front-line agents, by presenting via in-person visits and webinars, to promote awareness of the client's portfolio of brands, by delivering and presenting relevant sales materials to encourage maximum sales of the client's products and services. You will be responsible for categorizing and prioritizing agencies based on analysis of market share and room night data, and other relevant data. Prior to all agency activity, you will be responsible for formulating the sales strategy for each agency using the relevant data and reports to plan and structure the content of that call. You will be responsible for servicing, educating, and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory. Requirements: This position requires an outgoing, positive professional attitude, strong communication and time management skills. You must have at least 3-5 years or related experience in the hospitality or travel industry in either sales or marketing roles You must be PC literate - proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx and Zoom Experience in Salesforce Professional appearance and manner Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing Competent at developing business relationships at all levels - face to face, email, video conferencing, and telephone Strong selling skills Effective analytical skills Good administration and organization skills Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to undertake additional hours and perform other ad-hoc duties as deemed reasonable by your manager You must have full use of a car You will receive an annual salary for this full-time role, expense reimbursement, and a year-end incentive bonus. Medical, dental and vision insurance is provided. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Some overnight travel will also be required.
