Faculty Position: Bone Marrow and Transplant
The Perlmutter Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, at NYU Langone Health seeks candidates for full time faculty positions with expertise in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. NYU Langone Health and The Perlmutter Cancer Center is one of the nation's premier centers for excellence in clinical care, biomedical research and medical education.
We are seeking a junior faculty member who is a passionate clinical scientist to provide care for patients with hematological malignancies (lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia) undergoing stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. We encourage candidates with expertise in all aspects of transplant care including stem cell and bone marrow harvesting, tissue typing and evaluation, infusion practices and expertise in the prevention and treatment of transplant complications and GvHD. We expect the candidates to fully participate in the programmatic requirements to maintain FACT accreditation for allogenic stem cell transplantation. In addition, the ideal candidates would have experience in designing and conducting clinical trials particularly with novel therapeutic agents and innovative approaches.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Experience with clinical trials and an interest in clinical or translational research is strongly preferred
