Who we are looking for State Street is seeking a Tech Lead for a critical module as part of the Global Banking Modernization program. The employee in this role is expected to collaborate with developers to perform SDLC activities.
Candidates should have functional knowledge and technical experience with ACI
MTS
(6.8), Universal Payments ( UPF 5.0 ), and
RTPS
platform. Relevant experience with Banking Platforms and ACI products is essential.
This role will be primarily responsible for multiple phases across the SDLC, including solution design, product configuration, integration, migration, and supporting the delivery of ACI solutions as SME.
What you will be responsible for
Having 10+ years of SDLC experience.
Good knowledge of various payment types like Domestic Fund Transfer,
CHAPS , Cross Border Payments/SWIFT, Instant or Faster Payments,
RTGS , SEPA.
Deep understanding of ACI product capabilities with hands-on experience.
Understanding core payment product flows of ACI.
Experience with
ISO 20022
messaging standard.
Collaborating with business units, vendor partners, and technical teams to align technical implementation with business needs.
Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies, including
Agile
and Waterfall.
Conducting workshops to explain design and use cases.

Experience with ACI MTS and RTPS for financial institutions.
Experience with ACI Universal Payments design, configuration, and integration.
Knowledge of UNIX ACI MTS customizations, enhancements, migrations, or upgrades.
Knowledge of High Value flow, Mass Payment, and Immediate Payments.
Knowledge of SWIFT message types like MT103, MT202, MT202COV, MT910, MT900, MT192, MT210, MT292.
Knowledge of ISO message types like PACS and PAIN messages.
Ability to implement configuration parameters, customization changes, and patches.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience working in a global delivery model.
Performing technical analysis for projects supporting business initiatives and system upgrades.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of experience.
Additional requirements
Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows Server.
Experience with JBOSS/WebSphere or similar application servers.
MQ experience is a plus.
Knowledge of programming languages like C#, Java, Shell, Perl, Python, SQL.
Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 annually.
The salary range may vary based on location.
