The Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board-certified/eligible Endocrinologist at the Assistant rank on an academic or clinician track. This position provides clinical services to support the expansion of our Endocrinology services across various complexities, focusing on high-level, patient-centered care aligned with M Health Fairview's goals to achieve excellent patient outcomes. Position Highlights: Collaborate with the Endocrinology service line medical director and leaders to oversee and organize the clinic's Endocrinology care program, maintaining care continuum priorities. Work with administrative and clinical leaders to ensure implementation of best practice standards. Join a network of 16 academic and 2 community Endocrinologists, along with advanced practice providers across community clinics. This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE), including outpatient clinical care (0.85 cFTE), 3-4 weeks/year of inpatient consults at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, and 15% academic/educational activities involving teaching fellows, residents, and students. Practice locations include the M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis (1-2 days/week) and community clinics (2-3 days/week). Provide comprehensive care for conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and disorders of the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and parathyroid glands. Collaborate with Division colleagues and consult with patients to determine treatment plans. Order, interpret, and monitor diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and facilitate referrals. Participate in leadership meetings and explore opportunities for research and teaching. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by ABIM. Licensed or eligible for medical license and DEA registration in Minnesota. Able to obtain work authorization in the U.S. and maintain legal status under VISA requirements. Pay and Benefits: The total salary range is $184,919 - $254,826, based on experience and qualifications, with clinical salary through M Physicians.
