An HRIS Technical Associate Director will play a key role in owning and optimizing our Workday HRIS system, primarily focusing on the HR modules for HCM Core, Absence, Talent/Performance, Journeys, and other modules. You will serve as the functional and technical point of contact supporting HR Functional Leads and subject matter experts to consult, design, and implement holistic end-to-end solutions that improve business processes and provide valuable insights to support HR and business strategies.
You will collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and provide proactive, creative, and consultative solutions, managing customer expectations through disciplined project management activities. If you have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and rolling out system enhancements related to Workday HCM (HR), including configurations, security, controls, and process optimizations, we want to hear from you. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring occasional office presence.
Responsibilities include leading project planning and execution, understanding business requirements, system configuration, process improvements, and supporting system maintenance and upgrades. You will also manage operational support, develop reports and queries, and ensure data integrity.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant HRIS or technical experience
3+ years of project implementation and business analysis experience
2+ years of experience with Workday HCM, Absence, and Talent/Performance modules
Knowledge of HR business processes and organizational change management
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Technical field
Strong communication and active listening skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
Self-starter with drive and initiative
