Summary :
First Horizon is looking for a customer-obsessed, data-driven Product Manager to lead the evolution of our KYC (Know Your Customer) and Identity Verification capabilities within the Digital Identity team. This role will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of KYC workflows for account origination and identity recovery across our online and mobile banking platforms.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, fraud, and operations, and will serve as a key thought leader on how to deliver seamless and compliant onboarding experiences. Familiarity with platforms like Alloy, Socure, Sentilink, and Middesk is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end KYC product lifecycle, from strategy to execution, across consumer and small business onboarding flows Define and optimize workflows that meet CIP, BSA, and FFIEC regulatory requirements while minimizing customer friction Lead the configuration and orchestration of third-party identity providers; oversee model selection and rule logic Collaborate with engineering and design to build, test, and launch KYC-related features in our digital applications Partner with fraud, legal, and compliance teams to ensure workflows meet internal policies and external regulatory obligations Use sandbox, backtesting, and reporting tools to simulate changes, validate rule logic, and monitor production performance Track performance of identity verification vendors and signals, recommending improvements or replacements as needed Develop and track metrics like pass/fail rates, manual review volumes, approval latency, and conversion impact Drive operational excellence through well-documented procedures for manual review escalation and rule tuning
Preferred Qualifications
3–6 years of product management experience, ideally in a fintech, digital banking, or identity-focused environment Deep understanding of KYC/CIP, digital onboarding flows, and fraud prevention strategies Hands-on experience configuring and integrating vendors like Alloy, Socure, Sentilink, or Middesk Comfortable reading API documentation and working with engineering on decision logic and data integrations Familiarity with concepts like velocity checks, step-up authentication, and identity element matching Crisp communication skills. Able to distill complicated processes into easily relatable and digestible talking points. A customer-first mindset with a bias for simplicity, speed, and regulatory compliance
