Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor without tenure (WOT) in Pediatric Radiology, Neuroradiology Position Description The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting one full-time (100% FTE) faculty Pediatric Neuroradiologist. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience, to join the department with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2026. Clinical responsibilities include patient care in the domain of pediatric neuroradiology, with modality coverage to include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, brain CT/PET, and cranial ultrasound. Additional responsibilities include teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, contribution to weekly neuroradiology interdepartmental clinical conferences, quality assurance and continuous process improvement, engagement in academic and research activities, and assigned administrative duties. All UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Successful applicants will join our 20 pediatric diagnostic faculty, 3 pediatric interventional radiologists, and 3 advanced practice providers, participating in the ongoing education of 4-5 fellows and 6-9 residents. Opportunities to subspecialize in various areas that align with individual interests, including nuclear medicine, cardiac, fetal, body, neuroimaging, and musculoskeletal imaging, are available. The institution is committed to clinical and research excellence, and pediatric radiologists are encouraged and supported in clinical and basic research efforts. Compensation and fringe benefits are competitive. The base salary range for this position will be: $40,418 - $48,906 per month ($485,016 - $586,872 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements: M.D. or D.O., or foreign equivalent, in medicine Possess or be eligible for medical licensure in Washington State Completion of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship, followed by additional training in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Neuroradiology; OR Completion of an ACGME accredited Neuroradiology fellowship, followed by additional training in Pediatric Radiology or Pediatric Neuroradiology Possess, or eligible, for an American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology Excellence in academic achievement as demonstrated by a record of scientific presentation and/or publications In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
