Operations Manager - Full Time - Bridgeport (NJ), United States

We are looking for a Operations Manager to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Manage, direct, and provide leadership to all operational aspects of assigned Service Center (capital expense, quality, cost of goods sold, and delivery) Supervise Cost Estimation, Project Coordination, Mfg. Eng., Production Control, all direct labor staff, Hydraulic Testing, Master Scheduling, and administrative staff. Work closely with the established sales network to secure volume levels laid out in budget and Mid-Range Plan. Participate in special studies and analyses as needed. Work directly with other Sulzer Service Centers to coordinate continued integration of Global Manufacturing Network in support of cost reduction programs and targets. Work directly with established sales network and Alliance management structure in order to secure strategic alliances that benefit and support Sulzer’s Mid-Range Plan objectives Regular and reliable attendance. Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide safety program which includes following all safety policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Total Quality Management (TQM) effort. Performs other miscellaneous assignments and research projects as assigned. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Service Center
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or related field or equivalent education and experience. Business experience involving operations, planning, finance, and marketing Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 5-7 years’ experience with pumps or similar equipment preferred Ability to develop and foster a team environment
