Relocation assistance up to $3,000 MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist to join our affiliate healthcare team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a growing organization, contributing to patient care through accurate and timely laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in various areas such as hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking. Prepare specimens, analyze and report findings accurately and efficiently. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration. Conduct quality control checks and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results. Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care decisions. Document all procedures and results accurately in the laboratory information system. Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff and students. Stay updated with advances in laboratory technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications:
Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) ASCP for certification as an MLT or MLS BLS is required (AHA) Benefits:
