Join our fun and creative fabrication studio as a CMV (Non-CDL) Driver/Warehouse Assistant! At Aardvark Studios, we thrive in a multitude of creative landscapes. We are a dynamic design, build and technology studio serving the experiential marketing, location-based entertainment and museum industries, and constantly evolving with each and every unique project.
We are looking for an A-Player that can assist with various warehouse / production support tasks, and hop behind the wheel to support the movement of our amazing specialty fleet. One day you could be helping the team load a trailer for shipment, the next day you could be driving one of our 100+ custom vehicles between the Studio and storage. As a Driver/Warehouse Assistant with Aardvark Studios, you will work with talented people from across the company to help us keep things organized and moving forward!
QUALIFICATIONS:
What makes you the ideal candidate:
You hold, or can get, a DOT medical card and will pass background check/drug screening Experience driving box trucks up to 26', w/ clean driving record Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment with the ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack (Training / Certification can be provided) Physical stamina and ability to occasionally lift heavy materials safely You don't mind getting your hands dirty and work with urgency Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Knowledge and experience with basic vehicle maintenance and upkeep helpful Key Responsibilities:
Transporting vehicles to/from storage locations, service shops, our headquarters facility, and other locations as needed Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas Collaborating with team to schedule service appointments Pickup and delivery of materials and supplies Keeping vehicle status up-to-date in fleet management system Preparing vehicles for production - vinyl graphic removal, remove/reinstall exterior vehicle components, etc Packing and shipping assistance for tour and fabrication teams Requirements or What else is helpful:
In-office and on-time, 5 days per week Have a smartphone capable of installing and running company-provided apps to manage systems and communication during office hours How we'll measure success:
