Facility in Suffolk, VA seeking Vascular Surgery locums coverage Rates: $350/hr Position Details Location: Suffolk, Virginia
Start Date: As soon as credentialed ( June 2025)
Duration: Ongoing through 2025
Practice Type: Hospital-based vascular surgery
Schedule: 2 4 weekday/weekend night calls per week (variable)
Average Daily Cases: 3
EMR: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: 2 3 months (Temporary privileges available) Required Qualifications

• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery (ABMS-recognized)
  
• Active Virginia State Medical License
  
• Valid DEA Registration
  
• BLS and ACLS Certifications
  

• Clean professional background (for temporary privileges eligibility)
  

Key Procedures (Required)

• Aneurysm Repairs: Thoracic and Abdominal
  
• Open Surgical: Arterial Bypass, AV Shunt Creation, Vascular Access Devices
  
• Endovascular Interventions:
  
• Carotid Artery Stenting
  
• Femoral Popliteal and Aortofemoral Bypass
  
• Endovenous Laser Therapy Treatment
  
• Endovascular and Open Reconstruction for Deep Vein Occlusions
  
• Syndromes Treated: Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome, Nutcracker Syndrome
  

• Peripheral Artery Disease and Limb Gangrene Management

• Operating Rooms: 6 Main ORs, 2 CVT ORs, 1 Hybrid Room with Cath Labs
  
• Staff Support: 3 PSRs, 1 Surgery Scheduler, 2 CMAs, 1 LPN, 1 Vascular Tech, 2 Part-Time MDs, Practice Manager
  
• Patient Demographic: Adults and geriatrics only
  
• Teaching/Academic: No teaching responsibilities
