- Work setting: hospital-based and outpatient

- Procedures: Proficiency in reading digital mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional skills for all modality biopsy guidance is required.
- The candidate who takes this role will have the opportunity to join an experienced breast imaging team at our rapidly growing breast care program in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging.
- Number of Radiologists in Practice: 6 FTE in breast, 41 FTE in department
- Support Staff: mammo techs and dedicated ultrasound tech
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: varies by location, Diagnostics = 15-24/day, Screeners = 40-70/day, Procedures = 2-6/day
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult
- EMR: Powerscibe with voice recognition for reports. Hologic 2D/3D with high resolution (12 megapixel) monitors. New Samsung ultrasound units and 3D Tomo stereotactic guided biopsy
- Credentialing timeline: usually 2-3 months (depending on if a physician has IL license in hand or not)
- Board Certified (ABR or ABOR) in Radiology - Required
- Fellowship-Trained -or- Extensive Practice Experience in Breast Imaging - Required
- IL license (or willing to obtain) - Required
- BLS (by time of start) - Required
- COVID-vaccinated - Required
