Hematology Oncology Opportunity in Northwestern OH

• Growing regional, hospital-employed, hematology/oncology practice
• Fully comprehensive CoC accredited, stand-alone, dedicated cancer center
• On-site laboratory and pharmacy (board certified oncology pharmacist onsite)
• Infusion therapy (16 station, room for expansion,) radiation therapy (2 linear accelerators,) bone marrow aspirations
• Clinical research program, access to clinical trials through NCI
• Nurse navigation, financial navigation, social worker, registered dietician, tumor registry, healing arts program
• Each provider has nurse and medical assistant
• Clinic hours are 8am-4:30pm, 4-5 days/week, provider needs to be available during clinic hours
• Call coverage of one hospital only, every 1:4, starting Friday morning, rounding 8-9am during call week
• 4-6 inpatient consults during call week
• Clinic schedule blocked for inpatient rounding during this week
• Distance from cancer center to hospital is 7 miles, 14 minutes, free physician parking at hospital
• 2021 patient mix: 55% Hem, 45% Onc, Most common cases are breast, colon, lung, prostate
• Hospitalists admit and manage patients

Compensation

• Hospital employment, competitive base salary plus wRVU production bonus after threshold achieved
• Signing bonus, relocation, student loan reimbursement all negotiable
• Dues, subscriptions, CME, Board Certification $5k/yr
