Join an outpatient practice providing specialized care in Hematology and Oncology. This role supports a part-time Hem-Onc and collaborates with breast and surgical oncologists, within a clinic sharing space with a radiation treatment center. Workday schedules are flexible with options for three or five days per week. Step into a dynamic team and assist in patient management, diagnosis, and outpatient care in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide care and management for hematology and oncology patients
  • Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Administer specific treatments such as chemotherapy (e.g., intrapleural, intrathecal)
  • Manage VAD/CV catheters and perform necessary procedures such as FNA/Biopsy
  • Navigate EPIC EMR for patient documentation and follow-up

Qualifications

  • Active MD State License required at submission
  • Active MD DEA and CDS required
  • BLS or ACLS certification
  • Board certification in Hematology/Oncology

Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling options; three days a week (M-W-F) or full week (M-F)

Skills

  • Expertise in outpatient hematology and oncology care
  • Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in EPIC EMR
  • Effective communication and patient management skills
  • Willingness to work with interpreters to assist non-English-speaking patients
