Location : Deaconess Hospital (ICU)
Position Overview :
Deaconess Hospital is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Pulmonary and Critical Care team. This weekend option, hourly position involves working three 12-hour shifts (Friday-Sunday), from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The role offers a sign-on bonus of $30,000, structured as a forgivable loan over the term of the initial 3-year contract.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide critical care services in the ICU at Deaconess Hospital.
- Work in a collaborative environment with the Pulmonary and Critical Care team.
- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients, with a focus on pulmonary and critical care conditions.
- No call responsibilities.
Schedule :
- Full-time, weekend option: 3 12-hour shifts per week (Friday-Sunday).
- Hours: 6:30 PM 6:30 AM.
- Rotating holidays as part of the schedule.
Compensation and Benefits :

Qualifications :
- Active license in the State of Indiana (Kentucky license preferred).
- Certification by the ANCC/AANP as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or NCCPA as a Physician Assistant (PA).
- Experience in critical care or pulmonary care is preferred, but not required.
