Looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician that can provide night coverage 11p-7a starting in September/October timeframe. Must be EM Board Certified (family med is not acceptable) Must hold active South Carolina license, CSR and DEA (that can remain perm. in SC) JOB DESCRIPTION: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Length of assignment: Ongoing Call Requirements: No Charting/Dictation: Checking Required Certification/ Skills & Procedures: EM Board Certified Must have South Carolina License, CSR and DEA Have APP support (5 in total, mix of NPs and PAs) All EM Procedures Required-Intubations, Central lines etc. Must be comfortable with all ages is a requirement. Newly built ED that opened in 2021 with 80 beds and a separate psych area. Client Name/Worksite Location: McLeod Medical Center: Florence, South Carolina Reason for Need: Down 1 FTE # of FTE s Needed or number of shifts: 1 FTE, 12-14 night shifts per month (no specific shifts, can work group around availability) - hours are 11p-7a (will consider 12 hours if needed) Start Date: ASAP Daily Census/Patient Volume: 190 visits/day on average. Level 2 trauma center, low transfer rate, operate as a level 1 Shift Structure/Schedule: M-W & Th-SU staffing 7a 3 Physicians 11a 0-1: Physicians 1p 1 Physician 3p 2 Physicians 7p 0-1 Physicians 11p -7a 2: Physicians: This is the shift that is needed Can we license for this opportunity? No- must have SC licenses Credentialing Timeframes: 30-60 Days BC/BE Certification Requirements: Must be EM Certified Orientation: Must be a Monday-Friday prior to 1 st shift. It is a day of onboarding and orientation. Travel: lodging and mileage preferred but open to air if it makes sense with availability provided Bill Rate: $390 (will submit with best rate needed) Multiple companies working on this-ask that we submit with best rate possible Med Mal: All Inclusive
