A highly regarded national rehab provider has been growing and adding a Physiatrist to maintain a work/life balance for our clinicians! This Physiatrist will lead our acute rehab consult service. This is a key role focused on improving patient flow, reducing hospital length of stay, and building functional continuity through early rehab intervention and thoughtful discharge planning.

You ll help expand the consult program with strong institutional support and the flexibility to shape your practice across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position Overview

  • Expand and lead a consult service at a partner acute care hospital

The volume of consults could be a practice unto itself!

  • Carry a small inpatient census (5 10 beds)
  • See patients in your own outpatient clinic space is already prepared on campus

Team Structure & Call

  • Creative and flexible PM&R physician scheduling here how might you fit in?
  • Internal Medicine physician and APP manage medical issues and take most night call
  • PM&R call is light, rotated, and supported weekends largely covered by external physicians
  • Physiatrists rarely come in on weekends
