Details:
- Long-term FP MD/DO contract opportunity, up to 1 year with possible extensions
- Monday- Friday 8am 5pm
- No weekends or call
- Housing provided
- Local or travel locum tenens welcome to apply
- Family Medicine experience as an MD required
- 2 3 years of experience preferred
- Previous locum tenens and IHS facility experience preferred
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Must hold a valid U.S. medical license (any state)
- Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients required
- Conduct exams, order tests, and prescribe medicines or implement treatments
- We attempt to focus on a higher quality of care rather than a higher quantity of patients, which allows us to see patients on a regular basis and provide comprehensive care
- Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan
- Conduct patient exams
- Order/interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
- Prescribe medicine or implement treatments
- Update patient charts and EMRs
- Active, Unrestricted Medical License Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana, any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- Board Certification/Eligibility Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM),
- Active DEA Registration Required to prescribe controlled substances.
- Certifications Must have current certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Citizenship Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.
- Experience A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required.
- Credentialing Must complete all credentialing requirements within 10 days of offer acceptance.
- Federal Security Clearance Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
