This Regional Medical Center, located just 45 minutes from Tyler in East Texas, is seeking a GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablishing our GI service line. The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community.
- Hospital employed position covering one hospital
- Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base
- No clinic call requirements
- Hospitalists will admit patients as needed
- 10 days/month including one weekend/month hospital call
- Dedicated clinic and surgery days, which will be determined by the oncoming physician and PRMC
- ERCP is not required
- The ideal physician will be comfortable working in a solo setting and enjoys living and practicing in a rural community
