Adelphi is seeking a part-time Child Psychiatrist to provide onsite care in Denton County, Texas. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, specialized care.

Requirements:

• Valid DEA registration
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA-approved)
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Completion of all required agency and facility-specific training
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in children with intellectual disabilities.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Justify and manage psychotropic medications.
• Accurately document clinical encounters using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
