Position: RN – Mixed Acuity Unit (Critical Care & Telemetry) Location: Louisville, KY Shift: Nights – 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekends: Every other or every third weekend (Minimum 2 weekend shifts/month) Job Overview: This is a mixed acuity unit where patient assignments will depend on current census. Nurses must be confident and competent in managing both ICU-level and telemetry patients. ICU Patient Ratio: 1:2 Telemetry Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 Nurses must be comfortable transitioning between both acuity levels. First-time travelers are welcome! Required Skills & Competencies: Must pass an advanced dysrhythmia (EKG) test upon onboarding Experience with the following is preferred: CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) Balloon Pump Impella Pacemakers Patient Diagnoses Include: Cardiac critical care General medical critical care Certifications Required: BLS – American Heart Association ACLS – American Heart Association NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent critical care/telemetry experience Apply Now!!
