Description The Leidos FS2 Aero team is seeking a skilled full stack software developer to enhance existing software and implement innovative solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. This role offers the opportunity to apply extensive software development knowledge and exceptional coding skills in various projects supporting our critical mission. As a key member of our team, you will: Leverage your deep understanding of core AWS services, such as compute and storage, to develop and deploy essential services (Lambda, EC2).

Utilize languages including C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting in your development efforts.

Create and document new and existing functionalities within software version control repositories (GitLab) while applying DevOps principles to deliver new features in an Agile environment.

Engage in Agile software development initiatives, including stand-ups, planning sessions, and sprint planning, fostering innovation and enhancement of custom applications through iteration and functionality testing, utilizing Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

Apply cloud computing expertise to provide system administration and modify existing GOTS code, integrating open-source software solutions for display in web applications. This includes API development and database integration with Redux and React frameworks.

Collaborate with team members to assess functionality delivery per User Story Acceptance Criteria, ensuring thorough testing and quality control.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

An active Top Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a Polygraph examination.

A minimum of 3 years of experience working with REACT or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.

At least 3 years of experience in Python and C# development.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in unit testing and using continuous integration tools, alongside GitLab version control.

A proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, exhibiting strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in software development or integration projects within a service-oriented (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualization environment.

Excellent organizational skills—capable of planning, prioritizing work, and maintaining attention to detail throughout projects.

Strong communications skills, able to convey technical ideas clearly and adapt presentations based on audience needs.

Preferred Qualifications AWS Developer Solutions mindset.

At least 3 years of experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration.

2+ years of experience with DoD Aeronautical Datasets.

1+ year of experience with AWS CloudFormation templates, Node, NPM, Swashbuckle, REST API, and Sass.

AWS Solutions, Developer, or DevOps certification.

Familiarity with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is preferred.
