This leadership role requires strategic and operational oversight to ensure that the division's activities are in line with institutional goals and contribute to student success. Key responsibilities include providing academic leadership, supervising department chairs and program coordinators, managing budgets, and serving as the primary liaison for various stakeholders. The Division Dean will also be expected to lead cross-campus initiatives, support grant development, and maintain relationships with community and industry partners to align programs with workforce needs. Applicants for the Division Dean position must have a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution, active licensure as a healthcare provider in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of full-time higher education experience, with a significant teaching background. The role demands a candidate with a strong academic and professional background, including at least 3 years of work experience as a licensed healthcare provider. A terminal degree and experience in administrative roles, particularly within the community college system, are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in academic leadership, be adept at managing budgets and resources, and have a deep understanding of higher education standards and accreditation requirements.
