As an Advanced Data Scientist, you will work within a dynamic team of professionals specializing in Physics (Hydrodynamics, Acoustics, RF and EO/IR propagation) and Machine Learning. Your role will focus on designing and implementing innovative Signal Processing solutions to address complex, real-world problems of national significance.

Primary Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced statistical and machine learning models using state-of-the-art techniques.
Utilize advanced statistical concepts, algorithms, and methods to analyze unstructured, classified big data sources, producing actionable insights.
Collaborate with applied scientists, engineers, researchers, and program managers to build and implement machine learning solutions for novel challenges.
Commit to continuous learning and skill development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML and data science to apply impactful approaches.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of applicable experience.
Proficient with modern data exploration techniques and tools.
Experience in developing and implementing machine learning solutions.
Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML algorithms and libraries.
Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Matlab.
Strong grasp of machine learning concepts, principles, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work full-time on-site in San Diego, CA.
U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in conducting research to create data science solutions.
Experience in applying advanced mathematical concepts in software development.
Current holders of an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance are preferred.

Pay Range: Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00. This range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that may influence the offer include the responsibilities of the role, education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market alignment.
