ATI is currently seeking to hire a Level III NDT Technician. The position will be located at our Monaca, PA facility and support our Specialty Rolled Products Business unit. The position will report to the Quality Manager.
For this position we will consider candidates with Level II NDT experience and help them to achieve their ASNT Level III Certification.
Job responsibilities will require traveling, as needed.
Responsibilities MIL-STD 2132 program administrator backup Training, certification and performance reviews of NDT personnel, as required Support to other departments, primarily Certification and Product Engineering groups NDT Test Results review and approval NDT specification review NDT procedure development and implementation Customer support as required - MIL-STD 2132 program Perform internal quality audits and supplier quality audits Assist with development of new technologies Interaction with industry groups Basic qualifications
3 years experience in Non-destructive testing NDT Level III experience OR;
Fours years' experience in Non-destructive testing NDT Level II OR; An associates degree in a technical field with two years' experience in Non-destructive testing NDT Level II OR; A bachelor's degree in a technical field with two years' experience in Non-destructive testing NDT Level II
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's of science Contact and Immersion UT experience Penetrant experience Experience with titanium and nickel products NADCAP experience Skills
Advanced to Expert Microsoft Office skills Communicates progress & results effectively both verbally & through written technical reports & presentations. Communication extends across business disciplines. Ongoing contact with others outside their immediate work group, including quality, technology, & operations Demonstrates ability to identify and implement continuous improvement in all areas of the business Strong problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Ability to apply analytical thinking to address complex problems based on product & process data
