The expected salary range for this position is $156,600 to $174,000, depending on experience.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
To oversee and manage the engineering function while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with station needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the engineering function to meet station requirements and regulatory standards.
Manage and develop engineering personnel to achieve corporate objectives and high-quality outcomes.
Provide engineering and technical leadership for both short-term and long-term initiatives affecting site operations.
Engage in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews for the assigned team.
Contribute as a senior resource to company-wide programs focused on engineering systems and process enhancement.
Fulfill other assigned duties in accordance with company policy, including Emergency Response duties and coverage, and supporting outage activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) OR related science OR Active Professional Engineer License OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering experience, including 1 year in a nuclear power plant.
Must comply with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements for personnel qualifications in nuclear power plants.
Satisfy access and medical examination requirements as applicable to position duties.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer Registration.
Advanced technical degrees such as an MBA or Master's in Engineering.
Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
Proven experience in Power Plant operations (Nuclear or Non-Nuclear).
Holders of a Senior Reactor Operator or Reactor Operator License are encouraged to apply.
