Job Overview:
Join the Leidos Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) team, a dynamic group of skilled cyber software engineers focused on developing advanced offensive cyber toolkits. Our mission-driven team is responsible for creating capabilities to detect, deny, degrade, disrupt, and deceive adversaries. We are seeking one to two Senior Software Engineers to help design and build innovative tools utilizing cutting-edge offensive cyber technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Employ programming techniques to navigate and evade both host-based and network intrusion detection systems.
Craft software to capture, analyze, and interpret raw network traffic effectively.
Engage in network socket programming, developing packet-level programs while demonstrating expert knowledge of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
Analyze and deconstruct various hardware and software, particularly focusing on network devices and technologies, to discover and exploit vulnerabilities.
Design capabilities based on specified requirements, producing detailed design documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant development experience.
Proficient in software design and development with expertise in Python and C/C++.
Demonstrated experience in offensive cyber programming for either the U.S. Government or within the commercial sector.
Strong understanding of network protocols, routers, and network security fundamentals.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with firmware and embedded systems reverse engineering.
Knowledge of Assembly programming.
Familiarity with reverse engineering tools like IDA Pro and Ghidra for analyzing embedded device firmware.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Experience utilizing Docker and container orchestration technologies.
